Here is a rough sketch of a painting I'm doing for an upcoming Disney show. It will be 20x26". I will take pictures as the painting evolves. I'm in the process of transfering it now.
In a nutshell...I grew up in Amish Pennsylvania farm country, moved to New York City and lived there for 8 years. While in NY, I worked as an animator and illustrator. I've been working for Disney since '87 went on staff in '92 and moved to Los Angeles with Disney in '94. I'm currently the art director for the Mickey Franchise at Disney consumer products. I live in the Hollywood Hills with my wife and 3 spoiled dachshunds.

I can't wait to see this one.
Ve-r-r-y-y-y... ambitious.
Oh my GOODNESS! I would go bananas doing something that detailed. Looking forward to seeing the painting stages.
oh maaaaaaaaaaaaaan.
Very ambitious indeed! I guess you won't be crankin' THAT one out in one night.
Can't wait to see the finished piece!
Stef, I'm going to hide you somewhere in this painting. Maybe France or Africa.
This is unbelievable! The transferring alone is a feat in itself! It's gonna be very cool to see this take shape.
... gulp...
Looking forward to seeing your progress on this.
I like your quick watercolor sketch above too (that dot for an eyeball cracked me up).
Steph said it...oh man. This is a monumental piece indeed.
