I don't envy you having to go to jury duty, but it's great you got some nice sketches out of doing your civic penance. I had to do jury duty and I thought it would be great to draw in my sketchbook. I did so for the first few hours until an older lady spotted me and came over and talked my ear off about her son and her entire life story. Those last few hours dragged on something fierce. Can't wait to see your next set of sketches.
In a nutshell...I grew up in Amish Pennsylvania farm country, moved to New York City and lived there for 8 years. While in NY, I worked as an animator and illustrator. I've been working for Disney since '87 went on staff in '92 and moved to Los Angeles with Disney in '94. I'm currently the art director for the Mickey Franchise at Disney consumer products. I live in the Hollywood Hills with my wife and 3 spoiled dachshunds.

the only way to survive jury duty is with a sketchbook.
